Montgomery Estates Neighborhood Profile

Montgomery Estates is one of the prime areas on the California side in South Lake Tahoe. It consists of four different neighborhoods.   Montgomery Estates is known for large, modern homes, wide streets and good sized parcels with lots of surrounding vacant land.  Homes generally are less than ten years old and are usually bigger than 1800 square feet with attached two car garages. It is popular because there is a peaceful feel to the neighborhood and yet it is only five minutes from skiing, the casinos and the Lake Tahoe.  No other neighborhood offers such easy access to Tahoe’s natural beauty and instant access to the city’s amenities.  Bears, beaver, Raccoons, and coyotes are common visitors through out the neighborhood, which adds to the attraction.  Montgomery Estates is a prime high end rental property and locals residential area.
